End of the talk

– Your opinion: how many people are making love here?

– … And how many are arguing?

– Are you afraid of that?

– …

– You know, we’ll talk… and make love after…

(smiles)

– Sooooo… ?

– … Yes!

This text is my submission to this weekend Trifecta writing challenge : Trifextra: Week Seventy.

Here is the challenge :

For this weekend’s prompt we’re asking for exactly 33 words inspired by the following picture.  Good luck!

drapeau-francais-france–  A ton avis, là, combien de personnes font l’amour?

– … Et combien se disputent?

– As-tu peur de cela?

– …

–  Tu sais, on parlera … et on fera l’amour après aussi…

(sourires)

– Doonnc … ?

– … Oui!

  1. Well that’s one way to end the talk! Great take on the prompt!

  2. It’s important stuff–the talking and the making love. 🙂 I love the discussion here. Thanks for linking up.

  3. I’m reminded of Paul Simon’s line: “negotiations and love songs” Nicely done. :)))

    • Thank you so much for your comment.
Paul Simon’s music and lyrics are some of my favorites.
I don’t know which song you are talking about but I love “Bridge over trouble water”, “Homeward bound”, “50 ways to leave your lover”, “Bookends” and so many others. “The sound of silence” is one of my three favorite songs ever.

  4. Ok, no fair completing the challenge properly in two languages!! 🙂 You implied a lot in these 33 words. Great job.

  5. What a great talk. I love the “Yes!” at the end.

  6. I like the playful tone of this (and no one was pushed, or leaped over the edge :))
