Old young idealism

No title

A torrent of blue gold in a sea of clay
You put men in, it becomes a civil war.
A black ink colored surface,
Marks the seabirds, their misfortune.
Fire, earth, and the ice
still sound the death knell, and resound.
These men who die of ignorance and hunger
Without a word, they are waiting for the end.
All these lives sacrificed for lands
Deserve, oh, the most beautiful prayers.
Injustice has been for a long time,
Should the regime change, it is time.
To transform the world for a better world
Where vile death does not exist. Take note, killers!

Poem I wrote when I was 17. What an idealist I was at the time !
Traces of idealism always remain, as this epidermal revulsion in front of ignorance, xenophobia, homophobia and all kinds of intolerance and the joy to see selfless acts…

drapeau-francais-franceSans titre
